Help With Understanding Your Diagnosis

Being diagnosed with ovarian cancer is scary and disorienting. Your world changes in an instant and many women don’t know what to do or where to turn. Below are some resources to help women understand their diagnoses and find more information about the disease.

  • The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance offers an oncology social worker who is available Monday – Friday, at 212-268-1002. If she is not available when you call, they say you will get a call back within 24 hours. For more information, check out their website: https://ocrahope.org/patients/just-diagnosed/
